I'm allowed to send n number of emails per week within a certain time interval. How does the time period work?

Here's an example to illustrate the time interval system:

You have sent out the first email for the week at 9.00 AM on Monday and the time interval between two emails is two days with a weekly limit of three emails. You can start sending out the next email 48 hours after the previous email was sent, i.e., send the second email at 9.00 AM on Wednesday and the third email at 9.00 AM on Friday.
