Other consent activities

This section lists the consent emails you have created or sent to your contacts from various mailing lists. View the status of your consent emails, the recipients for each email and the date and time the email was sent or created. You can mouse over on a consent email and click the View Report icon to the right of the email to view reports. To view the list of consent emails:
  1. From them Navigation toolbar, select Contacts and click Manage Topics.
  2. Select Emails to view the list of consent emails.
  3. Click on the email you want to view in detail.

Consent emails can belong to one of the status' below:

  1. Draft: Your email has been created but not yet sent to the recipients.
  2. Reviewed: Your email has been reviewed by the compliance team upon verification will be sent to selected recipients.
  3. Sent: Your email has been sent to the selected recipients.
  4. Active: You have opted for your consent email to recur at periodic intervals.
  5. Disabled: Your email that was set to be recurring has been disabled and will not be sent out until it is enabled again.
You can view the consent status of individual contact in their detail view. You can maintain a timeline of activities related to that individual contact.

To view the consent status of individual contact:

  1. From the Navigation toolbar, select Contacts and click All Contacts.
  2. Click the name of the contact whose consent status you want to view.
  3. In the Smart View, click the Expand icon.
  4. In the expanded view, select the Consent View subtab.

  5. In the Consent View page, you can see the consent status, the data processing basis on which the contacts' data is processed.
  6. Click the Add New Request link to update the timeline of contacts, if they raise any kind of requests.

Push Contacts to Zoho CRM

You can choose to move the contacts who have either expressed or denied consent, into Zoho CRM. Contacts who have expressed their consent can receive newsletters and those who have denied consent will not. You can either configure "Push to Zoho CRM" for each consent email or you can apply the same configuration for all the consent emails.
To have a common Push Contacts to Zoho CRM configuration for all the consent emails:
  1. From the Navigation toolbar, select Contacts and click Manage Topics.
  2. Select Other Settings subtab and click the Configure button in Push to CRM section.
  3. Select either to update only existing contacts or to update existing and push new contacts and click Configure Mapping.




  4. Select a CRM account and module to push the contacts to, and Save the mapping.
  5. Click Save.
If you want to have a different setting only for a specific consent email, follow the steps below:
  1. From the Navigation toolbar, select Contacts and click Manage Topics.
  2. From the Emails subtab, select a consent email for which you want to have a separate Push to Zoho CRM setting.
  3. Scroll down to the bottom of the page where you can find the Push contacts to Zoho CRM section.
  4. The settings that you apply in this section will be applied only to the specific consent email.
You can update your consent status while syncing your contacts/leads from Zoho CRM to Zoho Campaigns. To update the consent status, you'll have to select any one status out of the two i.e either Update as Consent Required or Update as Consent Expressed. This section can be used to create a consent email confirmation template to be sent to contacts who have given consent to receive your newsletters. To edit the consent email confirmation content:
  1. From the Navigation toolbar, select Contacts and click Manage Topics.
  2. Select Setup and you can either Preview or Edit your consent email response in Consent Email Response Customization section.
  3. Click Edit to make any changes.
  4. Click Save and Proceed to save those changes.

  2. Select Emails and mouse over the consent email you want to view reports for.
  3. Click the View Reports icon in the right corner.
  4. Click on the number of emails sent or consented to view a detailed report.
  5. On the reports page, click Consent Report from the More menu to view the number of recipients who have opened your email, who have confirmed and who have not confirmed to receive email newsletters.
  1. From the Navigation toolbar, select Contacts and click Manage Topics.
  2. Select Emails and mouse over the consent email you want to delete.
  3. Click View Reports icon in the right corner.
  4. Click the Delete icon in the top-right corner of the page.
