Setting up the agenda

Plan your event with an intuitive agenda for each day. With Zoho Backstage, ensure that everyone attending the event has the latest agenda to avoid any disruptions. Do this without having to print your agenda on paper or maintain changes across multiple spreadsheets.



  1. Go to the Agenda tab in the Microsite Builder. The default track will display.
  2. Optional: Click the Add Track button in the right if required. You can populate up to ten tracks for an event.
  3. Optional: Click the name of the track to change the name.
  4. Double-click on a track to open the Add Session panel.
  5. Enter the details about your session such as session type, duration, description, etc.; in the Add Session panel that is displayed. Sessions that don't have a duration will be displayed in the Sessions not finalized area on the top.
  6. Click Done to save the changes and go back to the Agenda tab.

To choose a track color


  1. Click the Menu icon to the right of a track.
  2. Select the Track color option from the menu.
  3. Choose a color from the Select color section.
  4. Click the Done button.

To delete a track


  1. Click the Menu icon to the right of a track.
  2. Select the Delete option from the menu. The Delete track dialog box will display.
  3. Click Delete. If there were any sessions in the track that were deleted, they will move to the default track.
Note: All tracks, other than the default track, can be deleted.

Export an agenda

Use the export option to download a password-protected copy of the agenda to make offline changes.

  1. Go to the Agenda tab in the Microsite Builder.
  2. Click the Settings icon.
  3. Select the Export option.
  4. Optional: Select the Protect the file with a password checkbox if you want to secure your file and enter the password.
    Note: Ensure that you remember this password, as we will not store it.
  5. Click Export to download your agenda in a spreadsheet file.
Note: You can also use the Export option to figure out which format you should import a spreadsheet in. Create a sample session in the agenda and export it, then use the data in the exported spreadsheet as a reference when you import your agenda.

Import an agenda

Upload your event's schedule if you already have it planned out before-hand.
 
  1. Go to the Agenda tab in the Microsite Builder.
  2. Click the Settings icon.
  3. Select the Import option.
  4. Click Continue.
  5. Select the file that has the agenda that you want to upload.
    Note: Upload your agenda in a spreadsheet file.
Note:
  • Use the Export option to download a reference spreadsheet. Ensure that you add a sample session in the agenda before exporting, so that you can understand the format in which you must add your session data.
  • If your agenda import has failed, you will receive an email with a list of identified errors and their resolutions. Use this as a reference to fix the incorrect information provided in your file and try importing again.
