Video transmission for online meetings and webinars

You can transmit video using your web camera or other cameras connected to your computer while you host webinars or attend online meetings.

How-to

Transmit video

  1. Enter your meeting or webinar window.
  2. Select Computer audio as your audio option. Enable microphone and camera.
  3. Select your camera in the video dropdown.
  4. Start the meeting or webinar. 
To stop video transmission, click the video button below the video feed.
Note
  • If you're using phone audio, you can neither transmit your video nor see the video feed from others.
  • Currently, recordings of meetings and webinars will not contain video. Only your screen and audio gets recorded. However, you will be able to record video soon in the upcoming updates.
  • Although you can transmit video, you cannot stream or share video files during a meeting or webinar.
  • Currently, there is only a single video feed in Zoho Meeting which shows the active speaker in the video feed (Multi-video feed is being worked on by our team).

Enable video and microphone

To transmit audio and video, you need to provide permission for Zoho Meeting to access your microphone and camera. A pop-up will appear when you select Computer audio for your meeting or webinar.

Click Allow to transmit audio and video.

Enabling blocked access

If you block access and need to change it later, you can find the blocked pop-up icon on your address bar.

To provide access, change your preference and click Done.

Click the icon next to Permissions and edit browser settings to allow Zoho Meeting to use your microphone and camera.
Note
Administrators can turn off camera settings and block all members from transmitting video during meetings and webinars.
